What every Canadian gift order includes

Every price includes Canadian taxes and duties. The recipient pays nothing at the door.

Delivery is a flat $19.95 per address in Canada. Several bottles to one address pay one delivery fee.

Gifts for Canadian recipients are filled inside Canada. There are no customs forms and no border delays.

US and Canadian recipients can go on the same spreadsheet and the same invoice.

Each recipient can get a different wine and their own gift message, in a gift bag or gift box.

Every gift gets its own order number and tracking, so you can follow each delivery.

Questions companies ask about sending to Canada

Corporate wine gifts in Canada: FAQ

Can a US company send wine gifts to clients in Canada?

Yes. Companies in the United States, Canada, and overseas use Prime Wines to send wine gifts to recipients in Canada. You order online or send one spreadsheet, pay one invoice, and we deliver within Canada. You do not need a Canadian address, a Canadian account, or an import licence.

Do Canadian recipients pay duties, taxes, or customs fees?

No. Every price includes Canadian taxes and duties, and gifts for Canadian recipients are filled inside Canada, so nothing crosses the border. The recipient pays nothing at delivery.

Where in Canada do you deliver?

We deliver to all ten provinces, where alcohol delivery is permitted. Most of our Canadian gifts go to Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, and Alberta. We do not deliver to the Northwest Territories. If you are unsure about an address, send it to us and we will confirm before you order.

How long does delivery take in Canada?

Standard delivery is 3 to 6 business days. Remote areas or an out-of-stock wine can add a day or two. If you need gifts to arrive on or near a specific date, put the date in your spreadsheet or tell us by email and we plan around it.

Can I put US and Canadian recipients on the same order?

Yes. Put everyone on one spreadsheet and you get one invoice. The wine selection is not identical in the two countries, so choose wines for Canadian recipients from the Ship Wine to Canada list.

Are prices in US or Canadian dollars?

US dollars. The price shown for a Canadian delivery is the full price of the wine with taxes and duties included. Delivery is a flat $19.95 per address.

What do you need for each Canadian recipient?

Name, street address with postal code, phone number, the wine, and the gift message. The phone number matters: the courier uses it to arrange delivery when no one is available to sign. Carriers will not deliver alcohol to a PO box.

Can you deliver to an office tower or business address?

Yes. Include the company name, floor, and suite. Some large office towers only accept courier deliveries at the lobby or mailroom, so a direct phone number for the recipient helps. For people who are rarely at the office, a home address works better.

When should I send my holiday list for Canada?

The cutoff for Christmas delivery is 11:59 pm Central Time on December 15, 2026. Earlier is better: December is the busiest month for Canadian couriers, and a list sent in November leaves time to fix addresses before the holidays. If you want every gift delivered around a specific date, tell us and we schedule it.
